Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 years to 30 years as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules. Read notification page for more details about age relaxation.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ Class 10th/ ITI or its equivalent examination or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to be eligible for Assistant Loco Pilot posts. Candidates passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with Physics and Math or Three years Diploma in the related discipline can also apply for Technician posts.

Application Fee: General and unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 40/- while SC/ST and reserved category candidates are exempted from paying fee.

Application fee would be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order form any Post Office drawn in favour of “The Assistant Secretary Railway Recruitment Board, Secunderabad” IPOs Payable at “GPO, Secunderabad & D.Ds- Payable at “Secunderabad”.

Selection Process: Selection on candidates will be done based on their marks obtained in written examination as well as skill test for Assistant Loco Pilot while passed in written examination for Technician posts.
